Evi Can Stay in App Store if Developer Changes the UI, Source Says

According to a person with direct knowledge of the matter, the Evi digital assistant app will not be booted from the iTunes App Store as long as the app's developer makes changes relating to the software's user interface.

Following ongoing public outcry and organized protests at Apple stores last week, Apple has announced that an organization called the Fair Labor Association is conducting independent assessments of worker conditions inside the factories of Foxconn, its manufacturing partner in China. Some are celebrating the move and the proposed transparency of the FLA's results, but others are dubious of the FLA's track record.
