Does Lipton Tea Burn Fat?

There seems to have been a noticeable rise in the number of students on our DofE Expeditions opening these little paper sachets or envelopes of Lipton Tea, then making their hot cups of tea with them.

At first I thought that it must just be a popular, tasty brand of tea, but after further investigation (me being nosey), it appears they are drinking it because it reportedly helps them to burn fat.

Really? Is this the breakthrough mankind has been waiting for? Does Lipton teal burn fat? Well you’re about to find out what we managed to find out in the next few paragraphs.
